Staunton 680 will be hosting the State Golf tournament on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at Gypsy Hill Golf course. Registration starts at 8:30 am and play at 9 am. This is a four person team event cost $280 per team if you want t signs Aerie cost is $100 and a personal sign is $50. We are having mulligans door prizes and 50/50 raffles optional $20.00. Rathskeller will be transformed into an Irish pub this Friday, March 14, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. We're serving a traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner with corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carros, corn muffins, and desserts. Come eat your fill for $20. Our fabulous volunteers, Barbara Peyton and Dwight Barnes, are cooking all the food, but we need some help with serving and cleanup. Let us know how you can help. On Saturday we're marching in the St. Patrick's Day Parade. The Rathskeller will open at 11:00 with coffee and doughnuts. You can meet there or at the starting location which we will be assigned in the next few days. We must be in place by 12:00 with the parade beginning at 12:30. Members should be aware that the Grand Aerie has approved the bylaws voted on by Aerie several months ago, including a ban on smoking during regularly scheduled meals such as Friday night dinners and Bloody Mary breakfast.
Finally, remember that Friday is also the last day to bring in new or gently used t-shirts and socks for either men, women or children to be donated to a local shelter.

The House Rules have been approved by the Grand Aerie and will go into effect this Friday. The complete list of House Rules is posted in the Rathskeller.
Rule #24. Smoking During Scheduled Meals: The Rathskeller shall be non-smoking during regularly scheduled and published meal hours. Friday nights beginning at 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm. Bloody Mary Breakfast non-smoking in the Rathskeller from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Smoking is allowed outside of the building at designated areas.
Rule #25 Smoking During Special Events: At the discretion of the Board of Trustees, smoking may be restricted in the Rathskeller during advertised events (ex. Christmas Party Meal or a celebration of life gathering). There may be no more than (6) restricted special events per year. Smoking is allowed outside of the building at designated areas.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles #871 will walk in the St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, March 1. The Aerie will open at 11:00 for coffee and doughnuts. The parade starts at 12:30, but we have to be in place by 12:00. We will be given the exact location by February 25.
We need someone with an SUV to carry our eagle float and lead us, as well as three members to carry the flag and banner. We will have candy, dog treats, and more to hand out to the crowd. You don't have to sign up to participate, but it would help us in our planning.
