Food drive and November activities

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We have a lot on the calendar for the month of November so keep reading. A common thread is a link for you to sign up for a one-hour shift to help set up, serve, or clean up meals.  The Trustees are responsible for all aspects of the operation of our Aerie, and we will always be working at any FOE 871 event.  But we literally cannot operate without the help of our members.  It's just sixty minutes, and it's a fun way to get to know the members!  Plus you can nominate the charity of your choice. If your submission is chosen at the end of the month, they will receive $500 made possible by a generous, anonymous member.

Our Annual Food Drive closes Wednesday, October 30, at 6:00 pm.  Please bring a non-perishable item to the Rathskeller before that time.  All donations will be taken to a local food bank.

That is followed on Friday, November 1, from 5:30-7:30 pm by our fabulous steak dinner with baked potato, salad, and sauteed mushrooms and onions for $20.  Sign Up Here:  VoluntEAGLES: Steak Night - November 1, 2024   We also need a second grillmaster so talk to a trustee or send an email to trusteesfoe871@gmail.com if you can help.
