Help Needed!

Brothers and Sisters,

Several of our wonderful, regular cooks have other plans for tomorrow so we are a bit short-handed in the kitchen. Can you help with some of the prep between 7:00-9:00? Work would include cooking bacon and sausage, chopping vegetables, etc.

Please email trusteesfoe871@gmail.comif you are available.

Thanks.

Soooo many events!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We have a very busy weekend coming up!

First, on Friday we're serving chicken wings and shrimp (spiced or fried) along with coleslaw and corn from 5:30-7:30 if we can find someone to man the deep fryer.  Please talk to a trustee or send a message to trusteesfoe871@gmail.com.  We need other volunteers to help set up, serve or clean up. Which can you do?  VoluntEAGLES: Shrimp & Wing Night -- February 28, 2025

On Saturday we're marching in the St. Patrick's Day Parade.  The Rathskeller will open at 11:00 with coffee and doughnuts.  You can meet there or at the starting location which we will be assigned in the next few days.  We must be in place by 12:00 with the parade beginning at 12:30.  We need an SUV or truck to lead us with our eagle float tied on top.  Let us know if you will join us.  VoluntEAGLES: St. Patrick's Day Parade -- March 1, 2025

Then join us from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Sunday for the best Bloody Mary breakfast in town.  Enjoy eggs and pancakes cooked to order along with bacon, sausage, hash browns, grits, puffs and more for just $15.  All this food takes a lot of hands. Please click on this link to let us know what you can do to help.  VoluntEAGLES: Bloody Mary Breakfast -- March 2, 2025

Members should be aware that the Grand Aerie has approved the bylaws voted on by Aerie several months ago, including a ban on smoking during regularly scheduled meals such as Friday night dinners and Bloody Mary breakfast.

Finally, remember that Friday is also the last day to bring in new or gently used t-shirts and socks for either men, women or children to be donated to a local shelter.

The Trustees appreciate everyone who has helped in the past and those who continue to do so.  Volunteers are invited to nominate a charity to receive a $500 donation from the Aerie as an expression of appreciation.
