October is here and we have a full schedule of events for the month.
Friday, October 4, brings back our NY strip steak with baked potato, tossed salad and more for $20. Enjoy a delicious meal between 5:30-7:30 and give us an hour of your time to set up the food, deliver meals to diners, or clean up. VoluntEAGLES: Steak Night - October 4, 2024
And the best Bloody Mary breakfast in Alexandria can be found at FOE 871 Sunday, October 6, from 9:00-11:00. Eggs cooked to order, bacon, sausage, pancakes, creamed chipped beef, grits, puffs and more for $15/adults; $5/children. A menu this big takes a lot of hands. Other October Events
- Wednesday, October 2, 7:00. First reading of proposed changes to FOE 871 bylaws and house rules. Vote to occur Wednesday, November 6, at 7:00.
- Friday, October 11, 5:30-7:30. TBD.
- Sunday, October 13. Anniversary/Old Timers Day. Reception begins at 12:00 followed by the ceremony at 1:00. Lunch to follow.
- Wednesday, October 16, 7:00. Second reading of proposed changes to FOE 871 bylaws and house rules. Vote to occur Wednesday, November 6, at 7:00.
- Friday, October 18, 5:30-7:30. Grilled pork chops with sides for $15.
- Friday, October 25, 5:30-7:30. Chicken wings and/or shrimp from $12-$15.
Remember to bring non-perishable food to the Rathskeller for a local food bank.
